The paradox of summer is that it is very busy, and yet there is also a lot of free time. Somehow both are true. Between all the travels, events, sports, and summer camps, there are some weeks when kids have very little to do. Why not spend that time coding?
Breakout Mentors uses the summer to set up small classes for groups of kids interested in learning together. These range from 9 year olds trying Scratch for the first time, to experienced high school students that would like to work on a group project. Is there a week when you have 3 hours a day free? Or two weeks for an hour and a half each day?
Our summer availability is quickly filling up, but there are still a few weeks available: July 7th, July 21st, July 28th, and August 4th. If you have a group of kids interested in doing some programming, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
