Breakout Mentors underwent a lot of growth in 2014, welcoming over a dozen talented new mentors! We recently updated the Our Mentors section of the website to include some of the mentors that joined in the last year.
We have a wide variety of skill sets amongst our mentors. Some specialize in the very first introduction to coding, working with 9 and 10 year-olds in drag-and-drop Scratch programming. Others work with only the most advanced 12 and 13 year-olds, who have been programming consistently for over a year and are ready for more difficult concepts/projects. This allows us to provide a personalized approach for any kid learning to code!
Here are a few of the mentors who joined in the last year!
Stanford
UC Berkeley
We currently have mentors available at both UC Berkeley and Stanford, but this won’t last long! Jade Hua and Angela Kong can each work with additional students of the above mentors (we also have a few others, include guys). Please contact us soon if you are interested!
