Soccer moms had it easy.
Remember in the 90s when that became an everyday term? Well a lot has changed since then.
The modern parent juggles a lot more than just soccer. Now there are multiple year-round sports that often overlap, and somehow a birthday party every weekend. All this zigging and zagging over the Bay Area is exacerbated by the 4th worst traffic in the world.
Well now you can finally add weekly coding to the schedule, right in the comfort of your own home!
The Mentor Comes to You
Breakout Mentors students meet the same mentor for a weekly 90 minute coding session. This allows us to personalize the instruction and continue to challenge each kid at the perfect pace, while creating fun projects.
Our mentors are able to travel in-home for a small surcharge ($30-$60 depending upon the distance). Weekdays or weekends are available, whatever is most convenient for you.
We just hired our first mentors at University of San Francisco, so now can even travel in-home in San Francisco. Other locations include within 8 miles of UC Berkeley (e.g. Piedmont, Rockridge, Albany), Stanford (e.g. Menlo Park, Palo Alto, Woodside, Los Altos), and Santa Clara University (e.g. Sunnyvale, Campbell, San Jose).
Video Conference Too
Kids who live farther away can also hold their sessions over video conference. We have students as far away as Tokyo and London!
If you aren’t in the Bay Area, or live far from the universities of our mentors, let’s discuss the possibility of video conference.
Personalized for Your Busy Life
Adding another weekly activity is the last thing some parents want. But we can make sure it is at the time and location that works best for you.
Personalized instruction and logistics.
