State-of-the-art Artificially Intelligence changes fast. The current buzz is the ability to generate photos or videos based on text input. But most people don’t want to play around with a cool technology, they want to get something done.
I’m going to show you a couple of examples here, but we’ll be going more in-depth on our webinar targeted for high school students:
Wednesday, October 19th at 5pm PDT
Learn how to use text-to-image and audio/video tools to make amazing projects, plus see how data + machine learning makes it possible

Generate an Image for an Article or Event
On Eventbrite or Facebook, you need a large image for an event or post. For our webinar we created this image using Artificial Intelligence:
It look all of 3 minutes:
- Go to DreamStudio and sign up
- Type in a prompt like “a robot painting at an easel”
- Generate your images, iterate, and download
Generate a Stylized Self Portrait
This one is even more useful for your Instagram or LinkedIn profile photo. It would cost thousands of dollars to commission an artist to create actual versions of these:
This takes a while to run, but the steps are easy:
- Go to Draw Anyone and sign up
- Provide it 5-10 close up photos of yourself
- Come back in 1+ hour once it has processed
- Give it a prompt like “pencil sketch”, “Van Gogh”, or “watercolor painting bright colors”
- Wait less than a minute and download
Behind the scenes this one uses the same imaged generation model called Stable Diffusion. What is interesting though is that it is retraining that model on your 5-10 images, that takes quite a while. Once your personalized model is ready, it is incredibly fast to generate new images based on your prompts.
Start Learning
More and more exciting tools will come soon. The point isn’t to become an expert in any one of these tools, it is to show you how data and Artificial Intelligence / Machine Learning can produce mind-blowing results.
Students can take this excitement to learn AI/ML from the ground up. We have many high school students working 1-on-1 with mentors, working through our project-based curriculum.
We hope you’ll join the upcoming webinar and check out our Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence Academy.
