Why is it important for kids to start coding at a young age?

I think coding offers so many skills. It teaches logic and problem-solving but also discipline and patience!

What do you find rewarding about teaching kids to code?

I love working with kids and teaching them about a subject that I love so much! I love seeing how creative they get with the projects.

What is your favorite game or project you have created with a student?

One of my students, Christina, just created a multi-class Java banking system!

What advice do you have for kids learning to code?

Keep with it! It may seem exhausting and dejecting at points, but it is so worth it!!
